Officially the Republic of Serbia  is a sovereign state situated at the crossroads between Central and Southeast Europe, covering the southern part of the Pannonian Plain and the central Balkans.

Serbia is landlocked and borders Hungary to the north; Romania and Bulgaria to the east; Macedonia to the south; and Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro to the west; it also claims a border with Albania through the disputed territory of Kosovo. The capital of Serbia, Belgrade, is one of the largest cities in Southeast Europe.
To study in Serbia and get the higher degree from Serbian universities is one of good opportunities to make carrier in all over the world. The study cost is so cheap for international students and the degree is acceptable everywhere in the world. 

Serbia currently has 17 accredited universities – 8 state universities, and 9 private universities. There are altogether 64 accredited universities, institutions/colleges of applied studies, and only 8 universities/colleges providing academic study programmes at both Bachelor and Master levels.

Academic studies: The three-cycle system of academic studies includes:

  • Basic academic studies (Bachelor) lasting 3-4 years, with 180 to 240 ECTS,
  • Master studies lasting 1-2 years with 60 to 120 ECTS, and
  • Doctoral studies (PhD) with a minimum of three years of study or 180 ECTS.

In the field of medical science (the studies of medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine) studies are organized through integrated studies that last 6 years and must carry a minimum of 360 ECTS. Also, integrated pharmacy studies with 300 ECTS have been introduced.

In addition, the second cycle of academic studies includes specialist academic studies with the minimum duration of one year with 60 ECTS if a student has achieved a total of 300 ECTS in previous studies.

Applied studies

Vocational studies comprise of two levels:

  • Basic applied studies, which last three years and have 180 ECTS, and
  • Specialized applied studies, which carry 60 ECTS and last one year.

All higher education institutions must be accredited in order to obtain the working license issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Private higher education institutions (not founded by the state) have the same status as public ones.

ADMISSION:

To get the admission at the Serbian universities/institutions is standard as many other EU countries universities rules.

 

You should submit all the require papers/documents at the perfect time and before deadline. Of course, all other requirements by university also should fulfill by every candidate, who wish to study in Serbia. SEE IN BULGARIA PAGE PLEASE!

VISA:

Once you are admitted at any of accrediate university/college in Serbia, you will get student invitation letter to obtain the visa from Serbian Embassy in your local place! All hard (original) copies we will send to your mention postal address through currier services as DHL/TNT/FEDEX etc. With original Invitation letter (include all other require papers) you should apply for visa at the Serbia embassy in your country. In 2-3 weeks the visa will open by Embassy, once all requires fulfilled by you.

Nation/Countries, where is not available the Embassy of Serbia or Consulate, they will obtain visa from nearest neighbor countries, where the consulate office or embassy of Serbia. Without legal visa in passport, candidates can return back to home country from the international airport of Serbia.

TUITION:

The tuition fee are different in Serbian universities according the rank and reputation.

The tuiotion fees (2010/11 ac.year) are fixed by ministry of education in Serbia.

This is from 2000.00 Euro to 3000.00 Euro – Per Year (Depend on the Rank of University and Faculty).

At every university the seats for international students are LIMITED!

Few of faculties tuition fee fixed by local currency as Serbian Dinar is around 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand) Serbian Dinar.

To study in English medium instruction on General medicine (MBBS) in Serbia is cost 7,000.00 USD per year. 

The Faculty of General Medicine in (local language instruction) tuition fee is 3,000.00 Euro (Per Year). But the Dental (Stomotologia) Medicine Tuition is so high as 4,950.00 Euro (Per Year). Pharmacy faculty require to pay 3,300.00 Euro (Per Year).

If students don’t have any kind of skill/knowledge in Egnlish language, then they should get admission on the Preparatory (Language) course. Where the tuition of per semester is 1000.00 Euro.

ATTENTION: Once the admission place are final and confirm by University authority, our company will forward all the necessary papers with Invitation (IV) letter to candidates postal address through Currier parcel to obtain the visa from Serbian Embassy. But few of University can require to sign the contract (between student and Rector of University) before they will allowed to apply for Visa to the Embassy.

NOTE: Tuition fee can raise every year by the decision of Education Ministry in Serbia. But it should not more than 300.00 (three hundred) Euro.

COST:

The cost of life and movement (transport) into the country is so cheap. Many students in Serbia live either in student dormitories or in rented apartments. Please have in mind that the there is a selection process involved and that there is usually many students who want to live in dormitories. And you will need to booked the place, once you are admitted at University. Otherwise, you should rent a flat.

The cost of dormitory also are different as its all are the under control of Universities individually. Its may from 60 Euro to 80 Euro per month.

FLAT: An average price for one bedroom apartment in the city center ranges from 200 to 400 euros per month, in the parts that are around 30 minutes far away from the city centre prices are lower and approximate up to 300 euros per month, and in the suburban areas. Of course besides city location, that is at the first place, prices of apartments depend on another several decisive factors as well: size of the flat, size of the building, whether the building has its own garage or parking place or not, whether it is old or new building, at which floor apartment is placed and so on.

COMPANY SERVICE CHARGE IS PAYING BY STUDENTS ONLY ONCE & AFTER VISA. THE AMOUNT OF SERVICE CHARGE WILL DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS PROVIDED BY OVERSEAS AGENTS/SUB-AGENTS/PARTNERS. LESS THAN 15 STUDENTS WILL CHARGE 1200.00 EURO. MORE THAN 15 – 20 WILL CHARGE 800.00 – 1000.00 EURO.

JOB:

Part time job is allowed in Serbia for all regular students. As this country is in the middle point of all Schengen Zone. Students can go to other Schengen western countries in summer vacation to earn more money than the standard salary of Serbia.
